INGREDIENTS

The ribs:

  • 2 racks pork back ribs

The gochujang marinade

  • 5-6 cloves garlic - minced
  • 1 tbsp ginger - grated
  • 1/2 cup gochujang
  • 1/4 cup of Hellmann’s Real Mayonnaise
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 2-3 Tbsp sesame oil
  • 2 Tbsp soy sauce
  • 1/4 cup rice wine vinegar

INSTRUCTIONS

  • Preheat oven to 275°F degrees
  • Pat the ribs dry with a paper towel. Remove the membrane using a butter knife and paper towel
  • Mix the gochujang marinade together in a bowl
  • Spread the marinade on both sides of the ribs and wrap the ribs in aluminum foil by folding the sides up. Leave a little bit of the sauce on the side for later. Place them on a baking sheet and bake for 2.5 hours
  • Once tender, let the ribs rest for 8 minutes in the foil.
  • Remove the foil, and spread more of the marinade onto both side of the ribs
  • Fire up the grill on high heat and grill the meat side down for about 3-4 minutes. Flip it and grill the other side for another 3-4 minutes.
